"Next-generation Electro-Optic Material Platform"

Under the direction of Dr. Alan Mickelson the UC Boulder optics and photonics laboratory designs, fabricates and characterizes materials and devices that amplify, detect and process light signals.

The Guided Wave Optics Lab consists of two measurement facilities. One with floating optical benches, hoods for mixing chemicals, etc. and several laser systems and measurement systems. The second is a measurement laboratory that contains a multitude of optical equipment necessary to make complex measurements.
